Please Call the Ohio National Guard Family Assistance Center at 614‐336‐4161 if you need help

We limit our requests for assistance to this website to those active duty military families who are based in Ohio and are referred to us from The Ohio National Guard. If this identifies you please contact the Ohio National Guard Family Assistance Center near you and request help. We only take referrals from the Family Assistance Centers directly.

If you have an immediate emergency financial need for military family, you may request assistance from our Foundation by contacting The Ohio National Guard's Family Assistance Centers located throughout Ohio. Our main contact with the Ohio National Guard's Family Assistance Cener is Angela Dyer.

The main contact number in Columbus, Ohio is 614‐336‐4161. Please feel free to tell them you were referred to them by our Foundation. A full listing of the regional offices and contact information is listed below.   Please note that it is impossible help everyone that requests help but we will try to select who we feel are the most in need at any time we have funds available.  We can not assure that all requests will be fulfilled but we will do our best based on what funds are available at the time of the request.

Franklin County Veterans Services - This goverment organization provides both temporary and long - term assistance for qualified veterans and their families. If the financial hardship is connected to a service disability they will assit the veteran with applying for permanent disability. If approved some expenses may be paid permanently,

In addition, Volunteers of America's Veterans & Families FIRST provides temporary financial assistance. Am I eligible? You must meet the following criteria:

Be a veteran or a member of a family in which the head of the household or his/her spouse is a veteran.

The veteran must have a discharge other than dishonorable.

Have an income that is below 50% of the area’s median income.

Be in permanent housing or scheduled to move into permanent housing within 90 days.
